Today is Chinese New Year - the Year of the Pig. What better day to announce the release of our debut album "YEAR OF THE CROW"?
You can buy a CD copy of the album from our shop, from Captain's Bar (Edinburgh), and from members of the band. The album is also available for download/streaming at all the usual places - Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, Deezer, etc.
We're holding an album launch event in Edinburgh on Saturday 9th March. Some of the launch will also be live-streamed on Facebook. See the Facebook Event for full details. Hope to see you there.

Big thanks to our friend Therese McGuire who took these videos of us performing at the Loanhead Festival Concert on 10th June. We were joined for these songs by Bruce & Gill Hogg (on slide guitar and percussion) and the final video features Bruce talking about the Gallus Crows t-shirts we had made for them.
Deek and Gogzy Crow had a grand time doing the sound and announcing at the Saturday event. There was a wonderful array of talent on display at the open mic event and the songwriters competition. Big thanks to everyone who took part - the artists, competition judges, organisers, craft fair folks, workshop tutors, bar staff and anyone else we might have forgotten.
We had a lot of fun at the launch of our debut release, "The Langdale EP" at The Captain's Bar on Saturday night. Thanks to the lovely people at Captain's for letting us host our launch event at the bar.
We've released the first 100 copies of the EP as a limited edition USB stick, featuring 4 original songs (one written by each member of the band), a Gallus Crows button badge, a video for "Take Me Back To Liverpool" and a link to "The Game Of Crows" - an online game which allows you to unlock special prizes! All this for just £5!
If you'd like to buy a copy of the EP, just contact the band, or pop in to The Captain's Bar, South College Street, Edinburgh, where you can purchase a copy from the lovely staff!
We'll be looking into releasing the EP on CD and possible digital distribution soon.. watch this space!

We had a wonderful time at the Langdale Charity Folk Festival over the weekend. It was so nice to hear all the other acts, catch up with old friends and make new ones and soak in the atmosphere and the sunshine! The festival raised nearly £4,000 for excellent local charities and we are honoured to have done our bit.
Big thanks to everyone who bought a copy of our debut release, "The Langdale EP". Kieron's song "Langdale" went down a storm and it was lovely to play it at the closing session on Sunday night with everyone singing along.
Here's a video of us performing "Langdale" at the Friday night bar concert. Big thanks to Rachael Dyson for filming it!
We're very excited about launching our debut EP at the Langdale Charity Folk Festival tomorrow.
Gogz and Deek spent yesterday evening copying the tracks for "The Langdale EP" onto the USB sticks and putting together the EP packs.. finished with a day to spare!
