Hope everyone is doing ok during the Coronavirus lockdown. We've been missing playing music together, but we've been amusing ourselves by making some videos of us performing some of our new songs... the "Corvid Covideos". Here's an example and there's more over on our YouTube site. Hope you enjoy them. Stay safe. Luv, The Crows

We had a lot of fun playing at the Roots Folk Festival on Thursday 22nd August. It was great to play with the lovely and wonderfully talented Sarah MacGregor again. Here's a video of us playing one of our new songs. Join Gallus Crows for our only performance at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, in an intimate "house concert" setting. We'll be playing songs from our debut album "Year Of The Crow" and some new ones too.
We had an amazing time at our Year Of The Crow album launch on 9th March. Huge thanks go to our special guests Si Cousins and The Lost Hubcaps (Neil Hamilton and Bruce & Gill Hogg) for their fantastic sets, and to Sarah MacGregor for joining us with her wonderful fiddle playing. Thanks also to our many friends who came out to support us! There's some photos from the night in our Album Launch Gallery and some video footage of our set over on our Facebook Page.

We're chuffed to announce that our debut release The Langdale EP is now available in CD format. The EP features 4 songs, each one written and sung by a different Crow:
Track Listing: 1. Langdale (K. Douglas) 2. Bird on a breeze (G. Andrew) 3. I don't know (D. Lauder) 4. The rattling boy from Dublin (words: William McGonagall, music: R. Corse) The CD is available for sale from our Online Shop. You can also pick up a copy at Captain's Bar, South College Street, Edinburgh, or at any of our gigs. Priced £4. Big thanks to our friend Therese McGuire who took these videos of us performing at the Loanhead Festival Concert on 10th June. We were joined for these songs by Bruce & Gill Hogg (on slide guitar and percussion) and the final video features Bruce talking about the Gallus Crows t-shirts we had made for them.
Deek and Gogzy Crow had a grand time doing the sound and announcing at the Saturday event. There was a wonderful array of talent on display at the open mic event and the songwriters competition. Big thanks to everyone who took part - the artists, competition judges, organisers, craft fair folks, workshop tutors, bar staff and anyone else we might have forgotten.
We had a lot of fun at the launch of our debut release, "The Langdale EP" at The Captain's Bar on Saturday night. Thanks to the lovely people at Captain's for letting us host our launch event at the bar.
